Just after noon on April 10, the SFSC Brain Bowl team squared off against a biology professor and one of the college’s IT professionals in a Battle of the Brain. The two teams vied to see who would come out on top in a trivia contest that spanned science, mathematics, history, and pop culture. Points were scored when a team member buzzed in quickly with the right answer.

The SFSC Brain Bowl team was comprised of Saul Medina, Mathew Daniel, Jose Sanchez, and George Perez. Representing the faculty and administration were Dr. James Hawker and Kim Bello. David Zoerb, a developmental mathematics instructor, served as the moderator.

The Brain Bowl came out on top, besting their opponents with a score of 205 to 75.
