Transition Into Medicare Workshop on April 24

A “Transition into Medicare” workshop will be provided by Valery Insurance Agency on Wednesday, April 24, at 3 p.m., in Building H, Room 110, on the Highlands Campus. This educational workshop will provide an understanding of timelines, options, and costs when you start Medicare. The workshops will cover enrolling in Part A and/or Part B, Medicare A and B coverage gaps, comparison of Medicare options (traditional vs. Medicare Advantage), Part “D” prescriptions, money saving prescription tips, and how to use the Florida Retirement System (FRS) health insurance subsidy tax free.

Those who should attend this “Health Insurance Options at Retirement” workshop are employees nearing retirement, retirees and spouses, and employees insuring a spouse. No need to register for the workshop. Please feel free to simply show up.
