SFSC Panther Athletics Update

On Friday, Jan. 26, Panther Baseball celebrated opening day with team impact partner Colby Richardson throwing out the season’s first pitch in front of a capacity crowd.

Colby set the tone for what would be a good day for the Panthers as they went on to defeat Inspiration Post Grad Academy 5-2.

On Saturday, Jan. 27, the Panthers split a doubleheader losing 2-9 to St. Petersburg College, and then defeating Polk State College 6-3.

The Panthers are back in action tonight Jan. 29 at 5 p.m. when they play host to Webber International University. The Panthers will be on the road for the remainder of the week with games as follows:

• Wednesday, Jan. 31 – IMG Post Grad, 5 p.m.
• Friday, Feb. 2 – College of Central Florida, 1 p.m.
• Saturday, Feb. 3 – Santa Fe College DH, noon.

Lady Panther Softball will open its season on Thursday, Feb. 1 at home at 4 p.m. against Seminole State College.

The Lady Panthers finish the week on the road against Eastern Florida State on Saturday, Feb. 3 at 1 p.m.
