Reminder: Apply for an Endowed Chair

The SFSC Foundation announced the five Endowed Chairs available to faculty for the 2023-2024 academic years. Two organizations and three individuals have recognized the quality and merit of our faculty at South Florida State College and aim to reward that talent with a stipend and financially support projects outside normal College funding.

They are:

• Highlands County Health Facilities Authority Endowed Chair for Nursing Education
• Highlands County Health Facilities Authority Endowed Chair for Dental Education
• Carol Emery Endowed Chair in Mathematics
• Dr. Norm and Laurie Stephens Endowed Teaching Chair (open to all qualified faculty)
• Bill and Lisa Jarrett Endowed Teaching Chair in Business
