SFSC Garners Two United Way Awards

SFSC United Way awardsSFSC recently garnered two awards from United Way of Central Florida (UWCF) as a result of last year’s annual campaign: the Highest Workplace Increase in Highlands County and a United Way Top Supporter in Highlands County Award. According to Liz Lind, the Highlands County coordinator for UWCF, SFSC employees increased the pledges to United Way over the previous year. The total for 2022-23 was $5,911.97. Some of the partner agencies in Highlands County that benefit from assistance from United Way are: Big Brothers, Big Sisters; The Boys and Girls Club of Highlands County; the YMCA; The Early Learning Coalition; The Scouts of America; Ridge Area ARC; The Champion for Children Foundation; and NU-Hope Elder Care.
