If you are interested in having a Work Study student in your department or office, talk with your department head or direct supervisor and submit a Position Request Form to the Career Development Center.
Work Study programs provide students with part-time employment that accommodates their class schedule and assists with their educational costs. Work Study students can be hired by various departments for clerical work, tutoring, and general work tasks. Work Study positions are considered seasonal/term positions and if the student is eligible, they can be rehired every term.
To accommodate student needs, we are slowly shifting our processes to become electronic. In addition, we’ve updated forms to make them more user-friendly. Here are a few new updates and reminders:
